Another Year of Shame - The Tory Party in 2022

November - in which Tory ministers were accused of/resigned because of their bullying, schools/hospitals/councils continued to suffer due to underfunding, the UK economy continued to do worse than its peers and Tory donors/peers/friends carried on getting favours

October - in which the Tories foisted yet another unelected PM onto us, planned further austerity cuts, sacked the Home Secretary then reappointed her, broke more pledges and looked on as schools, hospitals and the poor continued to struggle

September - in which the Tories crashed the economy, gave tax breaks to the rich, abandoned their net zero plans, and shafted the NHS, the police, schools, farmers and local planning laws

August - in which the Tories holidayed and attended hustings whilst the cost-of-living crisis escalated, allowed our rivers to be polluted and admitted channelling funds to wealthy areas, and their Brexit continued to hit businesses, farmers, musicians and holidaymakers

July - in which Tories accused each other of groping, were investigated for and found guilty of more crimes, undermined women's rights, oversaw an ever-worsening NHS crisis, let down children and saw their Brexit hit the UK even harder

June - in which the Tories broke international law again, cost the country £15 billion, broke more promises, tried to ship asylum seekers to Rwanda, failed to hit more targets, suppressed news stories, and deliberately allowed strikes to happen.
